Join us under the dome to collect your race day bib and visit the many sponsor booths onsite to see what’s new in running fashion & accessories. Plus, sample the many diverse sponsor products available!
Race package pickup are for Individuals and Shaw 2.5K Mini Sun Runners ONLY.
The Vancouver Sun Run Fair & Race Package Pickup is located at BC Place, 777 Pacific Blvd. Entrance at Street Level during the following days and times:
- Friday, April 12, 2019 – 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
- Saturday, April 13, 2019 – 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Your package will be comprised of: a souvenir technical shirt, race bib number and timing tag.
If you’re unable to pickup your package, you can assign someone to pick it up for you. Please give that person your bib number to expedite the pick-up process – nothing else is needed. For out-of-town participants picking up on race morning, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
IMPORTANT – RACE BIB LOOK UP!
BEFORE going to the Vancouver Sun Run Fair to pick up your Race Bib (which includes your timing tag) and tech shirt, it is recommended that you go online to confirm you are registered and to look up your Bib Number to avoid long line-ups. The “Bib Look Up/Results” will be activated on our homepage on April 10, 2019.
If you are an InTraining Clinic participant, you will pick up your race package from your clinic leader.
Open & Youth Teams:
Team members – please pick up your race package (tech shirt, race bib and timing tag) from your team captain.
Team Captains – Team shirts will be delivered from the screen printer directly to you by April 10, 2019. However you MUST still pick up race bibs and timing tags for all team members at the exclusive Team Package Pick-up, located inside Gate H at BC Place Stadium on:
- April 10, 2019 9am to 7pm
- April 11, 2019 9am to 7pm
There is NO TEAM PICKUP on Saturday, April 13 or on Race Day.
The Vancouver Sun Run will be using the MyLaps BibTag timing system. The timing device will be attached to the back of your race number. Please do not remove it. Your event time is recorded as you cross the timing mats at the start and finish line. No timing device = no time. Your race number must be worn on the front of your shirt for the event. The timing device and race number is yours to keep as a souvenir after the event.
You will pick up and verify your Bib Tag at Race Package Pickup. Do not crumple your race number or damage the Bib Tag in any way; a crumpled/damaged Bib Tag will cause the Bib Tag not to work. Attach your race number to the front of your shirt prior to the race. It records the time it takes you to get from start to finish no matter where in the pack you begin.
You must wear the BibTag on your Race Number as provided or you will not be timed.
Ensure your Race Number is clearly visible; the Bib Tag will not work properly if it is are covered with clothing. Make sure if you are wearing “throw away” clothing prior to the event, that you remove it before crossing the timing mats at the startline. You must cross the timing mats at the start and finish lines to receive a finish time. No other timing method will be used.
After you cross the finish line, you do not need to return your race number or Bib Tag it is yours to keep as a souvenir.
